Wardruna Biography - A meeting of myth and metal

Interpreting the ancient runes of the Elder Futhark to create a captivating, ethereal soundscape, this is one of the most surprising and ambitious acts to come out of Norway in recent years. Fronted by Einar "Kvitrafn" Selvik, the plan has always been to release a trilogy of albums, with debut effort Runaljod - gap var Ginnunga making its debut in 2009, and Runaljod - Yggdrasil following in 2013. To complete the set, 2016 marks the release of the group's third LP, with Runaljod - Ragnarok arriving in October.
