St. Cloud State Huskies Hockey TicketsSt. Cloud State's hockey program got its start back in the 1932-33 season. However, the school was not a part of the NCAA's Division I until fairly recently, in 1987-88. Since the 2013-14 season, the Huskies have competed in the NCHC. This is a tough conference, home to stiff competition like former NCAA champions, the North Dakota Fighting Hawks and the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs. The St. Cloud State Huskies have made their presence felt in the NCHC fairly quickly. They've made it to the NCAA playoffs five times since joining the conference. In recent years, the Huskies have counted play-makers Easton-Brodzinski and Sam Hentges as key pieces of the team. New head coach Brett Larson has developed the team extensively during his short tenure there. This team plays a hard-charging style of hockey.
