Niall Horan Tickets
Born in 1993, Niall Horan first found fame as a contestant on the TV talent show The X Factor. Although he was eliminated as a solo performer, Horan was invited by the show's makers to form a boy band with other contestants. This group would go on to become the hugely successful One Direction, the act for which the singer is best known.
In 2016, Horan began a career as a solo artist, and has just announced details of a massive tour of the UK and Europe for 2018 in support of debut album Flicker. Niall will play eight dates across the UK and Ireland, including shows in Dublin, Manchester and London in March with tickets available right here at StubHub.
Niall Horan's career in One Direction
Horan relocated from his family home in Mullingar to take part in The X Factor. After the show had run, he then temporarily moved to Los Angeles in 2011 to record One Direction's debut album. The ensuing work was an instant hit, reaching number one in multiple territories, including the United States, and selling 176,000 copies in its first week. "What Makes You Beautiful" was a smash hit single taken from the album, hitting the top spot in the UK and Ireland.
A second album, Take Me Home, came out in 2012, followed by a documentary road movie about the band, featuring Horan. Three further albums followed before One Direction decided to go on a hiatus.
Niall Horan's solo career
When the opportunity to do so arose, Horan immediately set about recording as a lone performer. In 2016, his debut single, "This Town", came out, charting well in the US and getting into the top ten in the UK. The follow-up single, "Slow Hands", did a little better, achieving platinum status in a number of countries. It got to number two in Australia and number three in Ireland.
