Chase Center: The Golden State Warriors & Touring Artists New Arena in San Francisco
The Chase Center is a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose arena located in the Mission Bay area of San Francisco, California. The idea to build a new arena began around 2012. The arena owners solicited private funding for the building and chose MANICA Architecture to create the exterior design. The naming rights to the arena were bought by the investment bank, JPMorgan Chase. Once it officially opens, Chase Arena will be the home of the Golden State Warriors of the NBA, replacing the previous Oracle Arena in Oakland, which was built in 1966. Chase Center will serve both the Oakland and San Francisco areas. The arena has already hosted several famous performers, including Metallica, Eric Clapton, Celine Dion, Phil Collins, Andrea Bocelli and the San Francisco Symphony. The Chase Center has a seating capacity of 18,064 people. If you want to attend a Chase Center event, then you can purchase tickets at StubHub.
