Lead singer Dave Bailey, guitarist Drew MacFarlane, drummer Joe Seaward and bassist Edmund Irwin-Singer have been friends since school, but almost elected against music as a career. Bailey was all set for medical school before the band was discovered by legendary producer Paul Epworth - co-writer of Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep' - and immediately signed to his label Wolf Tone. Debut EP Leaflings arrived in 2012, followed by debut album Zaba in 2014, and each proved a fascinating mash up of electronica and indie guitar. The group's experimental and unusual style saw many critics compare them to Radiohead and other rock visionaries, but there's a more dance-focused element to their sound.
