The Courteeners: indie foursome still going strong

Formed by guitarist Liam Fray in 2006, Mancunian group The Courteeners burst onto the hedonistic indie scene as a rowdy foursome, and relentless gigs in their local area earned them a huge fan base before they'd even released a record. In 2008, they debuted St Jude, which hit the upper echelons of the charts off the back of hit singles such as "Not Nineteen Forever" and "Bide Your Time".
