It takes a brave person to enter the world of stand-up comedy at only 18 years of age, but this Bristolian comedian took the plunge and did just that. In 1999 and still in his teens, he reached the finals of the television competition So You Think You're Funny?, which proved a springboard for his career as a comic. By 22, his wacky sense of humour had become popular enough for him to make a living as a professional stand-up, and he's hardly looked back since.

While many of his contemporaries find amusement in the lower moments of their lives, this funnyman has taken a different route. Audiences are taken along for the ride, and laugh with him rather than at his misadventures. With hugely successful tours including Wandering, Adventures, Dingledodies, Big Rooms and Belly Laughs and Right Here Right Now, he's become one of the country's best loved comics.
