Jack Savoretti Biography - An Acoustic Master

The talented Anglo-Italian grew up in London and the Swiss city of Lugano in a nomadic childhood that saw his family take in short stints across numerous countries in Europe. His mother, a model in the '60s, was the one who persuaded him to take up music, having been friends with the likes of Jimi Hendrix and the Rolling Stones. Aged 20, he got a break through his hairdresser - a meeting with Natalie Imbruglia's manager, which soon led to a deal. Soon, he was being be tipped as 'one to watch', but fame proved tough to handle for the young star, who quit his management and label to consider his future.

Despite almost giving up music completely, the singer returned with critically acclaimed Before the Storm in 2012, and the autobiographical album Written in Scars in 2015.
