Spectrum Center TicketsThe Spectrum Center is owned by the city of Charlotte in North Carolina. It was opened in 2005 and is the indoor arena of the NBA's Charlotte Hornets. Located in uptown Charlotte, the arena also hosts many NCAA basketball tournaments as well as regular Charlotte 49ers games. The area is home to successful men's and women's collegiate basketball teams, which makes the Spectrum Center a logical choice for tournament play. What is Spectrum Center's seating capacity?The Spectrum Center seating has a maximum capacity of 20,200. For NCAA basketball games and professional wrestling tournaments, the arena can be filled to capacity. The maximum capacity for NBA games is slightly less at just above 19,000 available tickets.
Is public transportation available for Spectrum Center?Spectrum Center's unique location downtown makes it extremely easy to access via public transportation. Charlotte's Lynx Light Trail railway is located across the street from Spectrum Center. There are 15 locations near the uptown area where patrons can park and ride the rail to the arena without worrying about parking. Directly across the street from the arena is the Charlotte Transportation Center, which is the hub of the city's public transportation system. In addition to the railway, patrons can ride public bussing directly to the arena.
What food and beverage options are available at Spectrum Center?Spectrum Center features concourse dining and arena restaurants. Concourse dining can be found on the lower, upper, north, south, founders and suite areas. Choices include everything from specialty BBQ sandwiches to craft beer. Can I bring lap infants to Spectrum Center without a ticket?The Spectrum Center is home to many different events. Many of these occasions encourage parents to bring children, and the arena is child friendly. But, all children who have had their second birthdays must purchase a ticket to Spectrum Center events whether they will sit in their parents' laps or sit on their own.
