Wichita State Shockers Women's Basketball TicketsAt the beginning of the 2018-19 season, Head Coach Keitha Adams knew that she had a young Wichita State basketball team. In fact, the Shockers were tied for the fifth-youngest women’s team in Division I basketball. With starting experience as freshmen, Seraphine Bastin, Carla Bremaud and Jaida Hampton will now continue to develop and climb in the AAC standings. In her first 30 games at WSU, Bremaud led all Shockers in minutes, scoring three-pointers made and three-pointers attempted. Bastin, who traveled to compete for the Shockers from her home in Belgium, led the team in assists and steals in her freshman season. Any run for a conference title and NCAA tournament appearance will no doubt be challenged by perennial powerhouse and conference foe the University of Connecticut Huskies. The UConn women have won three women’s basketball National Championships since 2014. Can Coach Adams and her Shockers make their way to another postseason tournament?
