Who are UCLA Bruins biggest rivals?Known as possibly one of America's greatest crosstown rivalries, USC Trojans are by far the UCLA Bruin's biggest rival. The team's longstanding feud is marked by the Victory Bell, which was originally given to the UCLA student body in 1939 as a gift from a former alumnus. The bell was used during UCLA games by cheerleaders who rang the bell whenever the Bruins scored a point. Tensions rose, however, when it was discovered that members of the Trojan student body managed to escape with the 295-pound bell during a football game. Missing for more than a year, the bell was finally relinquished, and an agreement was signed that the two rivals would now share the bell as a commemorative trophy to the winning team at the end of each rival game. Today, the tradition still stands, and the Victory Bell can be seen on the sidelines at every Bruin and Trojan rival game.
