Texas Stars ticketsThe Texas Stars of the American Hockey League are set to return to their home ice in Cedar Park, Texas, for another exciting season. The top minor league affiliate of the nearby NHL’s Dallas Stars since their inaugural season in 2009, the Texas Stars are a perennial contender, making the playoffs in seven of their first 10 seasons. The Stars are in the Central Division of the AHL’s Western Conference. They have won three Conference Championships and were the league champions in the 2013-2014 season, defeating the St. John’s IceCaps 4-1 in the Calder Cup Finals. The Texas Stars most recently returned to the final round of the playoffs in 2018 where they lost to the Toronto Marlies in a very close and hard-fought seven-game series. Following a disappointing 2018-2019 season when the Stars finished sixth place in their division, some key personnel changes have helped to keep fans optimistic about the future of Texas hockey.
