TCU Horned Frogs Women's Basketball TicketsFort Worth, Texas-based Texas Christian University (TCU) has fielded a women's basketball team since 1977. The school's athletic teams are nicknamed the "Horned Frogs," allegedly after an invasion of Texas lizards during a TCU football practice in the 1890s. The women's basketball program began NCAA Division I play in 1982. Its all-time win-loss record is 606-649 for a .483 winning percentage. The Horned Frogs have won championships in three different conferences. They won the WAC in 2000-01, Conference USA in 2001-02 and the Mountain West in 2009-10. They have appeared in nine NCAA Tournaments, most recently in 2010, and they have gone on to seven Women's NIT (WNIT) tournaments, where they have a 13-7 record. They currently play in the Big 12 Conference, where they finished the 2018-19 season with a 10-8 record for a fourth-place finish. They return eight letter winners for the 2019-20 season, so optimism runs strong for a great campaign. Grab your Horned Frogs tickets at StubHub.
