When it opened in 1998 as the Coors Amphitheatre, it was the first venue of its type in San Diego. Located on Entertainment Circle in beautiful Chula Vista, California, this amphitheatre has a capacity of 20,500 and is owned and operated by Live Nation. It hosts more than 30 concerts each year and sees 300,000 music fans each year for its events. It's very first performance featured Hall & Oates and Chicago. Since then, the venue draws today's top musical acts like Brad Paisley, Train, Rebelution, Santana, Beck and more. Yes, there's on-site parking. There's no charge for general North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre parking but there are premium and valet parking services available for a fee. Preferred parking is close to the West ticket gates but doesn't guarantee an early exit once the event has concluded. The amphitheatre's events are for all ages. Those under the age of two aren't required to have a ticket but must sit on a parent's lap. It should be noted that baby carriers, strollers and wagons aren't permitted in the venue as there is no area available for storage. The incline of the lawn makes it unsafe for stroller use on the lawn.

What food and drink items are offered at the theater?

There's a wide variety of concession offerings at the venue. They are located in the concession plazas on both sides of the stage and over the lawn. They sell Pepsi products but also sell water and Red Bull. Food items are standard fare including candy, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, pretzels and more.

Are cameras allowed?

The general amphitheatre camera policy allowed cameras, camera phones and disposable and digital cameras. Professional cameras, those with detachable or zoom lenses, will not be permitted. Some artists don't permit cameras of any kind in their events, so the general policy is subject to change. Is there a weather policy since this is an outdoor venue?
