They have upcoming shows at Kazimier Garden in Liverpool, Sound Control in Manchester, and Rescue Rooms in Nottingham, and Scala in London. With only a few gigs scheduled, King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard tickets are already scarce. Their tour continues in the United States and Canada, with stops in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Vancouver, Philadelphia, and New Orleans. They will also be playing an outdoor park show in Salacgriva, Latvia.

To keep up with their rapid rate of album creation - over six full-lengths and two EPs in the past five years alone - King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard created their own record label, Flightless. Flightless is an independent label based out of Melbourne whose other artists include The Murlocs and Sagamore.

King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard are an imposing sight on stage. The band features Ambrose Kenny Smith on harmonica and vocals, Cook Craig on guitar, Eric Moore on drums and auxiliary percussion, Joey Walker on guitar and bass, Lucas Skinner as the lead bassist, Michael Cavanagh on drums, and Stu Mackenzie on backup vocals and guitar. The group features a distinctive psychedelic rock sound and a grungy recording style. Their songs often break the five minute mark, with lengthy guitar solos and heavy electronic distortion.

King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard have been more worried about producing great music than seeking out fame, but the fame is coming regardless. With a thoroughly independent ethos, the band has steadily built an impressive fan base around the world.
