Hunt owned the Dallas Texans already but with the emergence of the Dallas Cowboys, Hunt decided to relocate his team to Kansas City, Mo., in 1963, which resulted in the renaming of the team to the Kansas City Chiefs. The team moved up in the ranks quickly and won three AFL championships in the 1960s: 1962, 1966 and 1969. Upon winning their 1969 championship, the Chiefs played in the Super Bowl IV game against the Minnesota Vikings in 1970 and won. The Chiefs also beat the Oakland Raiders in the final AFL game ever. In 1970, the Chiefs joined the NFL. The Kansas City Chiefs continue their great legacy today, with live games played at Arrowhead Stadium. You can find tickets to Kansas City Chiefs games at StubHub.

Who are the Kansas City Chiefs' main rivals?
The Kansas City Chiefs have a number of team rivals named in the media circuit, but the greatest rivalry is with the Oakland Raiders. Part of this is fueled by the fact that Chris Johnson was let go by the Chiefs and signed on by the Raiders almost immediately. There is a lot of internal swapping and overlapping between the two teams that also fuels the tension. For instance, Rich Gannon began his career with the Chiefs in the '90s but signed with the Raiders in 1999. Two years later, he was named NFL MVP. The Chiefs drafted Terdell Sands, who then later played for the Raiders. Given these internal conflicts, the Raiders remain the Chiefs' biggest rival team.
