Despite enjoying a 40 year career, he's not ready to bow out of the limelight just yet.

Adam Ant - Re-live Antmania with a Performance by the '80s Icon
Some people are born into the creative life they lead, and this can definitely be said of British musician Stuart Leslie Goddard. In the '70s, the quirky London art student abandoned a promising career as a graphic designer to pursue his musical passions, going from bass player of local band Bazooka Joe to frontman of his own project the B-Sides.
Bursting onto the music scene around the dying days of punk, the group attracted the attention of legendary Sex Pistol's manager Malcolm McLaren, who poached Goddard's band mates to form a new act with singer Annabella Lwin. Head held high, Adam Ant assembled a new line up and signed a deal with CBS records, establishing himself as trail blazer of the New Wave upon the release of debut album Dirk Wears White Sox. One of the most peculiar records of the '70s, Dirk is now hailed as a seminal album by punk cognoscenti, and is credited for helping the Antman garner a rabidly loyal following.
Kings of the Wild Frontier furthered the band's popularity in 1980, quickly followed by the 1981 offering Prince Charming, which featured a string of other UK number one singles including 'Stand and Deliver' and 'Ant Rap'.
Despite their huge success and legions of fans, Adam and the Ants disbanded in 1982 and the eccentric lead singer went on to pursue a solo career, changing direction to become a pop icon. His first album, Friend or Foe, featured notable songs such as 'Goody Two Shoes', which charted at number one in both the UK and Australia. Follow-up musical endeavours weren't as successful and he began focusing on his burgeoning acting career.
The '80s icon has subsequently returned to recording and performing music in recent years, and 2016 looks set to revive this unique star's popularity. Buy Adam Ant tickets on StubHub UK today and witness this living legend perform live in the flesh.
