- Country: Spain
- Population: 666,880

Zaragoza is a smaller Spanish city, but it's by no means any less lively than its larger cousins. It's a place where you can catch some sporting events that are quite off the beaten track, and it has also hosted one of the world's largest water and sustainable development fairs, Expo 2008. Another big reason to buy or sell Zaragoza event tickets on StubHub is an event that has become one of Spain's most popular, Fiestas del Pilar, a week-long cultural and religious festival. It's an excellent way of getting acquainted with the flavours of the city.
The festival city of Zaragoza
Zaragoza has also become the annual host of one of the more interesting indie music festivals on the international calendar Festival de Música Independiente de Zaragoza (FIZ). Over the years it has become a huge celebration of Spanish indie music, and can be highly recommended. For older cultural traditions, try and get your Zaragoza event tickets to coincide with Fiestas de Primavera, which is a folk festival that the city has always held to celebrate the arrival of spring. And in an embarrassment of riches, Zaragoza has also regularly offered the City of Zaragoza International Folk Festival. Sports fans can catch various cycle tours that usually wind through the city at different times of the year, as well as the Zaragoza International Marathon.
Zaragoza also loves its sport
There are two main auditoriums in Zaragoza where you can watch music concerts and theatre. You can't go wrong with either. Pabellón Príncipe Felipe has regularly hosted awe-inspiring performances by Cirque du Soleil, while Auditorio de Zaragoza has become a venue that offers widely varied entertainment as the city as grown and is the venue to look for when browsing Zaragoza event tickets for the aforementioned FIZ Festival. For a completely different experience on the sporting side, go and watch Dlink Zaragoza play the fast and frenetic game of futsal. Football and handball are also big in the city, as is rugby – the city has spawned no less than three teams.
What to see in nearby towns
Other major Spanish cities that you can easily reach from Zaragoza are the capital, Madrid, and the lovely coastal city of Bilbao on Spain's northern Bay of Biscay coast. Tudela is a lot closer, and it's well worth a visit to this town that staked its claim in history as a location for Game of Thrones. You can spend some happy hours visiting places that have become part of modern fantasy legend. Round off your Spanish trip by taking in Huesca, with its regal Olympia Theatre.
