The path to their debut was paved with resilience and determination. Several members honed their skills on highly competitive survival shows, most notably Boys Planet, where Wumuti, Rui, and Haru first gained public recognition. Leader Wumuti, in particular, brought a wealth of experience to the group, having participated in multiple survival programmes and even debuting as a soloist before taking the helm of XLOV. This pre-debut history forged a group with remarkable stage presence and a deep understanding of performance, which they immediately showcased with their debut single album, I'mma Be. Their distinctive sound, which blends moody hip-hop, R&B, and dance-pop, has set them apart from their contemporaries.
