WWE Extreme Rules TicketsWWE Extreme Rules is an event on the WWE annual calendar that is broadcast on the WWE Network and on pay-per-view. The event is regulated by extreme rules and is an annual WWE event that has been in existence since 2009. Like most WWE events, this one combines outrageous stage antics with extreme athleticism to create an intense fan experience. The premise of the Extreme Rules event is that the same hardcore rules govern the match as the now-dissolved Extreme Championship Wrestling used in all of its matches. The event is generally comprised of regular matches as well as hardcore and extreme tag team matches. You can experience this event in all of its extremities when you attend it live. What is some of the history behind the WWE?The WWE’s existence began long before WWE Extreme Rules events came around. The WWE brand was initially launched in 1952 under the name World Wrestling Federation, or WWF. Owner Vince McMahan purchased the company in 1982 and set out to do a complete overhaul. The brand consumed its largest competitor in 2002 when McMahon purchased World Championship Wrestling, in turn changing the WWF name to WWE, or World Wrestling Entertainment. Famous names like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Hulk Hogan, John Cena, and more have all gotten their start in the WWE wrestling ring. As the brand continues to expand its reach, the WWE now offers a wide range of merchandise, a reality television show, music, videos and more.
What happened in the 2019 Extreme Rules competition? The 2019 Extreme Rules competition was the 11th in the brand’s history and took place at the Wells Fargo Center, in Philadelphia, Penn. The lineup on this particular year was comprised of 13 total matches. The show hosted an impromptu main event when Brock Lesnar won the Universal Championship for a third time by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract on Seth Rollins. This happened immediately after Rollins beat out Baron Corbin and Women’s Champion Becky Lynch defeated Lacey Evans in an intense Last Chance Winners Take All Extreme Rules mixed tag team match. The event also saw Kofi Kingston maintain hold of his WWE Championship while AJ Styles brought home his third United States Championship. A No Holds Barred tag team match was also featured where The Undertaker and Roman Reigns took home the SmackDown Tag Team Championship title for the fourth time.
