Lacrosse fans, step forward and let's have a look at the Vancouver Warriors. Known for many years as the Stealth, they've been a fixture on the Canadian professional box lacrosse circuit since 2014, when the franchise moved from Everett in Washington to British Columbia. Vancouver Warriors only changed their name in 2018, so this is at once a new team and one that is more experienced than the bald facts would suggest. They play in the National Lacrosse League (NLL), and if you're wanting to watch them in action, their home field is at Rogers Arena, which is also the home of the Vancouver Canucks during the ice hockey season in Canada. While the Vancouver Warriors don't have the longest history in the professional lacrosse league, they've made up for it with some sparkling play that has seen them earn respect in a very short time. Of course, they're drawing on the legacy of their previous incarnation when they contributed the name of head coach Chris Hall to the Lacrosse Hall of Fame. In 2017 they made the playoffs, progressing as far as the Western Division Semifinal, where they ended up falling short by one goal to Colorado Mammoth.
