United Supermarkets Arena TicketsOpened in 1999 in Lubbock, Texas, the United Supermarkets Arena is the home of Texas Tech Red Raiders basketball, Texas Tech Lady Raider Basketball and Texas Tech Volleyball. Aside from the thrill of collegiate sports, particularly Big 12 conference games in the NCAA, the United Supermarkets Arena hosts local commencement ceremonies, WWE wrestling and other events. It also welcomes some of today's top musical acts such as ZZ Top, Luke Combs, Luis Miguel, Alice Cooper and more. What is the United Supermarkets Arena's seating capacity?This multipurpose arena, referred to as the Entertainment Showcase of West Texas, can seat 15,098. There's a total of 204,025 square feet of space at the facility, which includes 24 luxury suites, 10 concession stands, two official locker rooms and four guest locker rooms.
Is parking available?For concerts and special events at the arena, free parking is available across Indiana Avenue and west of the arena. Lots west of the arena are accessed from Texas Tech Parkway and Knoxville; they can't be accessed from Indiana Avenue. Separate parking maps have been devised for Red Raider and Lady Raider basketball games, and reserved parking for both is available through the Red Raider Club. For Red Raider basketball, reserved parking can be bought in advance from the Red Raider Club. Free public parking is available beside the John Walker Soccer Complex. Accessible ADA parking is available at the arena's west R37 lot for all events.
Is the venue a wheelchair-friendly facility?Yes, there's accessible ADA parking available in the lots west and north of the arena that are accessed by northbound Indiana Avenue. To use ADA parking, a state-issued disabled license placard or plate must be displayed on the vehicle. There's accessible seating available on all of the arena's levels. Guests needing wheelchair-accessible seating and help should notify venue at the time they buy their tickets. There are two guest elevators located at the west end of the arena, and each exterior stairway heading up to the concourse level has accompanying ramps.
What concessions are offered at the arena?With 10 permanent concession stands on the concourse level of the venue, there's a little something for everyone. There's also a food court located just off the east concourse that offers an additional assortment of refreshments for all collegiate basketball games. For Red Raider basketball games, there's courtside scholarship row seating that has access to courtside waiter/waitress service. All concessions are provided by Ovations, and outside food items and beverages aren't permitted.
What is the arena's child policy?Children 2 years of age and older are required to have a ticket for all Texas Tech University athletic games. Children 2 and under without a ticket must share a seat with a ticketed adult during the game.
Does the arena have a camera policy?The venue's camera policy is subject to change per event as each event producer determines the camera usage for his or her performance. Support pods for cameras aren't permitted. Cameras with flash aren't permitted for sporting events. Most concerts don't allow cameras or recording devices. Please carefully review the listing for the event you want to attend for its camera policy.
