The Warehouse Project 2018: world-beating electronic music
Few events in the UK clubbing calendar are as eagerly anticipated as The Warehouse Project. Running from September to New Year’s Day each year, the Manchester extravaganza welcomes the biggest names in house, techno and trance for 12 weeks of music and partying at its iconic Store Street venue – a former air raid shelter turned rave paradise beneath Piccadilly Station.
Since its beginnings in 2006, the series has consistently pulled in the best and brightest that electronic and urban music has to offer. DJs such as Aphex Twin, Pete Tong and Erick Morillo are among those to have donned the decks, while musicians Basement Jaxx, Happy Mondays and the Chemical Brothers have all graced the stage.
Organisers have announced that 2018 will be the last WHP at Store Street before the event moves to pastures new, so make sure you're there for one of its final show. Buy Warehouse Project 2018 tickets now at StubHub.
The Warehouse Project 2018 lineup
In keeping with its reputation for playing host to countless internationally celebrated DJs and artists, the 2018 Warehouse Project lineup again contains a stellar cast of musical talent. Canadian DJ deadmau5, production supremo Jon Hopkins, and Bonobo all feature across a mammoth 36 dates. Legendary British electronica group Underworld, Seth Troxler and German techno maestro Sven Väth will all play too.
Legendary Irish DJ Annie Mac returns for her fourth WHP to headline a night. Expect a bassy, floor-vibrating night as Annie will be joined by Mall Grab, Honey Dijon and Cassius. Then there's Four Tet – who has remixed tracks by artists such as Super Furry Animals, Radiohead, Lana Del Rey and Black Sabbath – and be joined by names such as Anthony Naples, Flava D and Willow.
The club is also renowned for placing international DJs alongside less established artists, meaning there’s a good chance you’ll catch a glimpse of the next big thing. With such a diverse set of acts to choose from there’s something for all tastes, so grab a ticket to the biggest party in Britain at StubHub UK now.
