Built in 1908 by Oscar Hammerstein, The Met Philadelphia was previously known as the Philadelphia Metropolitan Opera House before a $56 million restoration encouraged a name change. Located at on North Broad Street, this Philadelphia jewel is known for its amazing acoustics and previously was used by the Philadelphia Orchestra for recording purposes. The Met Philadelphia has a storied past that includes time spent as an opera house, movie theater, a vocational school and more. It has previously hosted artists such as The Caravans and Mahalia Jackson. With the current renovations, the Met Philadelphia will have 3,500 seats available providing the city with Philadelphia's largest auditorium as well as the biggest performance stage. There are three types of paid parking on-site. VIP Parking Passes will grant you access to three different lots and preferred parking passes that give you access to five different lots. Premier parking is also available for all events, but the price will vary. This lot is directly across from The Met Philadelphia but does not guarantee early exiting of the parking lot after the show.

Is re-entry allowed at The Met Philadelphia events?
