The Ghost Inside FKA A Dying Dream

The band was formed in 2004 and originally went under the name A Dying Dream before changing to their current moniker in 2006. They are based in Los Angeles, California, and released their first EP, "Now or Never", on Frontline Records but re-recorded the EP to be released later on Mediaskare Records. They went on to release their debut album, "Fury and the Fallen Ones," on the same label in 2008, which was met with huge acclaim and allowed the band to truly make their name in the metalcore world. 2010 saw the release of their second studio album, "Returners", as well as a change in line-up and a new label, with the band signing to Epitaph Records in 2010. The band marked their move to the new label with the release of "Get What You Give," an album that was produced by Jeremy McKinnon of A Day to Remember and which earned global recognition for the Los Angeles-based band. Tragic accident and triumphant return

The band continued their success in 2014 with the release of their album "Dear Youth" but were unfortunately struck by disaster in 2015. The band’s tour bus was involved in a road accident, resulting in members of the band suffering serious injuries. The following years saw the band recover from the accident until a social media post in 2018 confirmed they were once again rehearsing, to the delight of their thousands of fans. In 2019, the band announced their return show at the Shrine Auditorium Los Angeles, which sold out within four minutes, resulting in the venue staging the gig outside on a festival-style stage to accommodate the many spectators.
