The Agora Theater TicketsThe Agora Theater in downtown Cleveland is a music venue known by locals simply as "The Agora." The concert hall originally opened in 1966 in Cleveland's Little Italy neighborhood. In 1967, the theater was relocated near Cleveland State University. In 1984, a fire destroyed the building and forced it to move. Since 1986, the Agora has been located on Euclid Ave. in the downtown area. During its history, the venue has hosted national touring acts such as Bruce Springstein, Kiss, Peter Frampton, and many others. It is also the home of Mushroomhead's yearly Halloween concert. Where are the best The Agora Theater seats located?The unique design of the Agora Theater's seating means the stage is easy to see from every seat in the house. The seats closest to the stage are located at the bottom of the stage. Seats are staggered upwards towards the ceiling. There are no seats located behind the stage.
Is there on-site parking?The Agora's main parking lot is located behind the venue on Prospect Ave. The venue also makes use of parking lots on Euclid Ave. and E. 46th St. All parking lots are pay-to-park. The price of parking varies on the events being held at The Agora and surrounding areas. At the main lot, all parking attendants will be wearing The Agora T-shirts for easy identification.
Do children need a ticket for admission to The Agora?Yes, all guests of the Agora Theater and Ballroom will require a ticket for entry. Some events held at the theater are age-restricted, which means children will not be admitted even if a ticket has been purchased on their behalf. What are food options at The Agora?The Agora does not sell food. For long events, food trucks may park near the venue. On some occasions, pizza may be sold for guests to purchase.
Can I leave and re-enter the facility to smoke?No, patrons are not permitted to leave the facility to smoke and then re-enter. The Agora Theater has a strict "no re-enter" policy. What this means is that you cannot leave the building to smoke and come back in without purchasing another ticket. But, there is a designated smoking area where patrons can go to smoke and not worry about re-entry.
