Sebastian Maniscalco's background
The Italian-American stand-up comic comes from a humble background. He first moved to Los Angeles in 1998 to pursue a career in comedy. He waited tables at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills while taking every opportunity to do small shows at The Comedy Store nearby. It was during one such show that comic Andrew Dice Clay spotted Maniscalco. Clay added Maniscalco to his touring schedule, allowing the aspiring comedian to perform to a much a bigger audience.
Sebastian Maniscalco's big breakthrough
Maniscalco's big breakthrough came when actor Vince Vaughn spotted him during one of the shows he was doing with Clay. Vaughn cast him in his Wild West Comedy Show alongside fellow stand-up comics Bret Ernst, Ahmed Ahmed and John Caparulo. The show was a success, resulting in bigger opportunities for Maniscalco.

Maniscalco performed a special Why Would You Do That? tour in 2016 that was an instant success. He toured throughout North America, delivering performances at sold-out shows, including at the Beacon Theater in New York City.
The comic co-hosts a regular podcast on SiriusXM, The Pete and Sebastian Show, with fellow comedian Pete Correale. The podcast has more than 15,000 followers on Soundcloud.
