The center sits on the old Coney Island lot and saw Erich Kunzel perform its first show with the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra. Live Trax Vol.16 released by The Dave Matthews Band was recorded live at the venue. Jimmy Buffet has a long history with Riverbend, too. He first performed there in 1988 and now returns at least once a year for a show. Buffet sold out 41 shows in a row through 2008.
