Where do the Oshawa Generals play?The Oshawa Generals plays its home games at the Tribute Communities Centre. This multipurpose arena opened in 2006. Depending on the event, this venue can hold between 1,500 and 7,600 spectators. The arena has great options for food and drink, including the Prospects Bar & Grill restaurant. The Tribute Communities Centre also features the Oshawa Sports Hall of Fame. This special area includes plenty of old jerseys and other items. Before coming to Oshawa, Walters helmed the Georgetown Raiders of the OJHL for eight seasons. In addition to coaching, Walters has had a long career as a player. He was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1990. He played junior hockey for the Ottawa 67's. As a professional, Greg Walters played for teams that included the St. John's Maple Leafs and Rochester Americans of the AHL. Walters' assistant coaches are Nathan McIver and Greg Nemisz.
Have the Oshawa Generals ever won the Memorial Cup?Yes, the Oshawa Generals have won five Memorial Cups, more than any other team in the Canadian Hockey League.
