Reign FC TicketsBacked by a passionate fan base and large crowds, Reign FC, based in Tacoma, is the premier women’s soccer team in the state of Washington. When it was founded as Seattle Reign FC in 2012, the club was one of the eight original members of the National Women’s Soccer League. The team's name was chosen to honor the former Seattle Reign basketball team, which was a pioneer in women’s sports. After a five-win debut season led by English football veteran Laura Harvey as head coach, the Reign ascended to the top of the league standings, winning the 2014 and 2015 NWSL Shield for the best record in the regular season. The team reached the championship game in both seasons but lost to FC Kansas City. After narrowly missing the playoffs in two straight seasons, Reign FC returned to the postseason in 2018 and 2019.
