The arena opened in 2011 and seats 5,022. In addition to the rink where varsity hockey games are played, there's an Olympic-size playing surface. The Compton Family Arena is a fully modern rink, with a press box that seats 36. The arena features plenty of concessions as well as an Irish-themed pub called O'Brien's.
