Mr. Olympia is an annual bodybuilding event that was first held back in 1965 and has simply become the gold standard in bodybuilding contests. The first event was won by Larry Scott, who also took the 1966 title before retiring as a champion, although the all-time lead is held by both Lee Haney and Ronnie Coleman, both of whom won eight different times. Other winners, like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno, went on to become stars and celebrities after lighting up audiences at Mr. Olympia with some of the greatest performances in the event's history. Recently, it's been all about Phil Heath, who took down four straight from 2011 through 2015 and has established himself as one of the all-time greats and a dominant force in the modern chapter of Mr. Olympia.
