Meet Jonathan Ivo Gilles Vandenbroeck, born in 1981 in Borgerhout, who has been active in music since 2004 under the stage name of Milow. Having grown up around musical instruments, Milow developed an interest in them from an early age. He learned how to play guitar and piano and started performing in high school bands when he was a teenager. He quickly decided to develop a solo career and chose his professional name. His first album, "The Bigger Picture", was released in 2006 and received a lot of attention. The album’s fourth single, "You Don’t Know", became his first successful hit and put him on the radar for good. A look through Milow’s career

Milow’s first big break in Europe came with his second studio album, "Coming of Age", which ranked in the top four positions in the German and Swiss charts, reaching Platinum status. In France the album was so successful that it won Gold. The following year Milow recompiled and released the album in North America under the name "Milow". He became internationally well known, however, not through an original song but with his cover of "Ayo Technology", alongside a very popular music video that had millions of views on YouTube. The single was originally released in collaboration with 50 cent, Timbaland and Justin Timberlake. His third album, "North and South", was released in 2011; some of its tracks were mixed by Tony Maserati, who has won Grammy Awards for his work with other celebrities like Beyoncé, Jason Mraz and Lady Gaga. Milow also released the acclaimed "Silver Linings" in 2014, "Modern Heart" in 2016 and "Lean Into Me" in 2019. With every album, Milow matures in his identity and grows as a musician.
