Once a very blue-collar, textile-centric center of manufacturing, it has grown into its own as one of the state's major centers of culture, education and entertainment.

The SNHU Arena is a great place to enjoy touring performances by some of the most popular bands, musicians and other performers in the country.

Manchester is also home to a variety of sporting teams. Cheer on the AHL Manchester Monarchs, an affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, as they take the ice at the SNHU Arena. At Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, grab yourself some cracker jacks and root for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, a double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.
