Jessie Ware: collaborator extraordinaire

Golden-voiced Londoner Jessie Ware got her first break of sorts in the music business as a backing singer for Jack Penate and indie band Man Like Me, before she collaborated with feted dance act SBTRKT in 2010 on EP Nervous. Following the release of another track, "Valentine", she inked a deal with PMR Records as well as working with Florence + The Machine. Her debut album Devotion was released in 2012; peaking at number five in the UK albums chart and being nominated for the Mercury Prize.

In 2014 she returned to the studio to record her second album, with a collaboration with Ed Sheeran, "Say You Love Me", taking place as part of those sessions. Heralded by "Tough Love", the Prince-like single, the album was a critically acclaimed success, with Kid Harpoon, Dave Okumu, Sam Smith and Nineteen85 also appearing.

Preceded by singles Midnight", "Selfish Love" and "Alone", Ware's third album Glasshouse  was released in 2017; boasting further collaborations with Julia Michaels, Francis and the Lights and, again, Ed Sheeran and peaking at number seven in the UK album charts.
