Hamilton Bulldogs Tickets
The Hamilton Bulldogs is one of the newer teams in the OHL. The team was founded in 2015. Prior to that, Hamilton had hosted an AHL team by the same name. That team left in 2015, when the Montreal Canadiens decided to move its farm team to Laval. This meant there was a gap in the market for a developmental team. Team owner Michael Andlauer purchased an OHL team to fill that gap. The Bulldogs' first full season in 2015-16 was an adjustment period for everyone. The team missed the playoffs. By its third season, however, the Hamilton Bulldogs had claimed the OHL championship. This team is guided by general manager and president Steve Staios, who is from Hamilton and played over 1,000 NHL games during his professional career. Under Staois' leadership, the Hamilton Bulldogs drafted players including Frank Jenkins and Logan Morrison. Over the past five years, Hamilton has also seen Bulldogs players like Arthur Kaliyev emerge as first-round picks in the NHL draft.
