FIA World Rallycross Championship Tickets
The FIA World Rallycross Championship is a rallycross series consisting of a dozen two-day events. The high-intensity racing is held in closed venues, like amphitheaters, and provides drivers with a mix of surfaces to navigate, and RX supercars are able to accelerate from a standstill to 60 miles per hour in less than two seconds. Robert Reed is recognized as the inventor of rallycross. The first rallycross event took place on February 4, 1967, and the popularity of the sport quickly grew throughout the United Kingdom. Within the next two years, rallycross racing had spread to places like Holland and Sweden. The FIA World Rallycross Championship is sponsored by Monster Energy, and the inaugural race for the series was in 2014 at a track in Portugal. The first race was scheduled after FIA granted the sport of rallycross world championship status.
