This venue in the Lisbon District opened in 1944 and was renovated in 2014 to bring it up to date. The sports complex is well-known for hosting the 1967 European Cup final between Celtic FC and Inter Milan. The Celtic team was nicknamed the Lisbon Lions after its victory in this stadium.
