It broke ground in 2003 and is colloquially called A Catedral (The Cathedral). It has a variety of beer and specializes in seafood from Mediterranean, European and Portuguese cuisine. There are also a number of sports cafes and food trucks offering typical Portuguese food such as Bifanas (a grilled pork and steak sandwich), Entremeadas (grilled pork and bacon sandwich) and Couratos (pork-rind sandwiches). Alcoholic drinks are not allowed inside the stadium.
Are there other entertainment options nearby?The Museu Benfica hosts a number of workshops and tours. It is in a building next to the stadium in the sports complex of the Sport Lisboa e Benfica club.
