EnduroCross TicketsEnduroCross is a hybrid motorcycle sport on an obstacle riddled racetrack. The sport is popular mainly in Europe and the United States. In the US, most EnduroCross events take place on the make-shift tracks laid on ice hockey or basketball courts. Despite the seemingly smaller size of the track, the stadium is usually customized to integrate a larger track that can easily handle multiple riders racing their motorcycles. The idea of an indoor event was first conceived in Barcelona at the start of the Millennium; however, the relative popularity among spectators allowed it to expand to other European cities. In the United States, the event was introduced by Eric Peronnard, who is also responsible for organizing similar motorcycle racing events in the country. The original event was held in Las Vegas at the Orleans Arena but later expanded into other cities mainly by the introduction of the AMA7 EnduroCross Championship. If you want to watch one of the toughest motorbike races, you can get EnduroCross tickets at StubHub.
What type of track is used in EnduroCross? An EnduroCross track contains a lot of obstacles, both natural and manmade in a relatively tight space. At first glimpse, the track resembles a trial track for individual cyclists who would face hard rocks, woods and mud obstacles. On closer inspection, you will notice that there may be water crossings, telephone poles and numerous other challenges that a rider may face on a cross-country road. Riders also need to maneuver between multiple jumps and potholes to complete the entire course.
What is the format and schedule of the EnduroCross event?A typical EnduroCross event starts in the evening just after the sunset. There are a variety of different races scheduled for the three to four hours show. Initially, there is an autograph session where fans can get autographs and talk to their favorite racers. It is followed by amateur and veteran races. Ladies and finals are usually held near the end.
Is the EnduroCross race classified into different groups? Each EnduroCross event consists of four to five classes where up to 16 riders may compete against each other in a single race. The five groups of racers are amateur, veteran, intermediate, women and professionals. Anyone over the age of 35 years is considered a veteran who can also take part in an amateur event. Similarly, there are no strict rules for age or experience when it comes to the ladies' events. Five national championships are awarded each year, one for each class.
