Drake has just announced that he will be returning to Europe with a series of concerts In the UK, Ireland, Belgium, and the Netherlands. First up in March 2019 are the concerts in the British Isles, with scheduled events in Manchester, Dublin, Birmingham, and London. Tickets will officially go on sale on the 25th January 2019. Drake: worldwide phenomenon

Known to his parents as Aubrey Graham, hip-hop icon Drake first gained fame for his role on the Canadian teen drama series Degrassi: The Next Generation. After he left the show to pursue his passion for music, his first mixtape Room For Improvement became a huge cult hit, attracting the attention of superstar rap mogul Lil Wayne. He signed to the Young Money Entertainment label in 2009, going on to release his number one debut album Thank Me Later to a hot critical reception. His second album Take Care catapulted him to international success, charming a horde of celebrity admirers including Jay-Z, Eminem and Rihanna and earning him a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.

He has since proved to be a true icon of our generation, famous for popularising the acronym YOLO in his 2012 song "The Motto" and now his influence extends to mainstream audiences all over the world. 2013 album Nothing Was the Same saw him continue to trailblaze the charts, selling millions of copies off the back of mellow but literate rap hits such as "Started From the Bottom" and "Hold on We're Going Home". 2016's Views, featured the smash hit "One Dance" which skyrocketed to the top of the singles charts all over the world, before fifth album soared to the top of the charts across the globe in 2018.
