Busted Tickets
After the glowing success of their previous tour, the boys are back, Charlie included, with Busted looking as ready as ever to rock out in a couple of shows that you won't want to miss.
Last year, the boys hit the road to perform their collection of chart-topping pop punk sing-a-longs, including "Air Hostess" and "What I Go to School For" for their Pigs Can Fly Tour - a clear nod to the likelihood of their reformation. Since then the band have confirmed a slot at Glastonbury, alongside a special show at the London's Royal Albert Hall. Suffice to say, fans will no doubt be awaiting a possible 2018 tour, especially with the lads confirmed to be working on new material. SO Don't miss out on your chance to grab those Busted tickets now on StubHub.
Busted Biography
James Bourne and Matt Willis began writing songs together in 2000 before Charlie Simpson responded to an advert and won his place in the band after sailing through his audition. The pop punk trio burst on the British music scene at the dawn of the millennium, landing the cover spot of Smash Hits magazine before they'd even released their first single. Their rebellion-lite image immediately attracted a legion of pre-teen admirers and debut track 'What I Go To School For' soared to number three in the UK Charts. Their eponymous debut album went on to sell 1.2 million copies and spawned massive hits including 'Year 3000' and 'You Said No', prompting a wave of similar acts like McFly and Scouting for Girls.
Channelling a more rock-oriented sound, the band released their 2003 sophomore album A Present for Everyone. Despite the mammoth chart success of "Crashed the Wedding" and "Air Hostess", Charlie quit the band at the height of their fame to focus on the heavier rock outfit Fightstar, along with writing music at a different level in comparison to James and Matt.
Later that decade, all three members pursued various solo projects. Matt went on to enjoy a successful television career, and James had relative success with his own band Son of Dork. Of course, the Busted shaped hole, could never really be filled, despite attempts from (admittedly Busted-endorsed) McFly and Aussie outfit 5 Seconds of Summer... After the success of a briefly united supergroup McBusted, after a fateful visit from Matt and James, Charlie returned to the Busted. Busted reformed in 201, bringing their punk-pop anthems back to life in some of the UK's biggest arenas for their Pigs Can Fly tour.
