AT&T Byron Nelson Championship TicketsThe AT&T Byron Nelson Championship is an annual tournament that celebrates the career of legendary golfer Byron Nelson, who won the US Open once and the Masters and PGA Championship twice. Known for his record-breaking 1945 season in which he won 18 tournaments, including 11 straight, Nelson founded and presided over the tournament that bears his name. Though the start of the tournament dates back to 1944, it was officially christened the Byron Nelson Golf Classic in 1968. Money raised at the tournament benefits the Momentous Institute, which focuses on children’s social and emotional health. The Salesmanship Club of Dallas serves as the host organization for the tournament. Past winners have included Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, Ben Crenshaw, Craig Stadler, Sam Snead, Ben Hogan and Vijay Singh. Watson is the tournament’s all-time champion with four wins, including three successive titles between 1978 and 1980. If you want to experience the tournament’s rich legacy, then you can purchase AT&T Byron Nelson Championship tickets at StubHub, a leading source for live events.
How much are tickets?Tickets for the AT&T Byron Nelson Championship start around $45. This includes a complimentary shuttle from the parking lots to the main entrance of the course. Tickets are only needed to access the main tournament.
What is the format of the tournament? The AT&T Byron Nelson Championship is a standard stroke play tournament that takes place over four rounds. If players do not exceed a certain score or rank by the end of the second round, then they are cut from the tournament and unable to proceed to the final two rounds. Ties at the end of the final round are broken by a sudden death playoff.
When does the tournament take place? The 2020 AT&T Byron Nelson Championship will take place between May 4th and 10th. Pro-am and practice rounds will take place on Monday and Tuesday, but they will be closed to the general public. However, additional pro-am and the practice round on Wednesday will be open to the public with free admission — if you want to take pictures with your own personal camera, this will be the only opportunity. The first round will begin at around 7 a.m. on Thursday. The final round and closing ceremony are scheduled for Sunday. Beyond 2020, the AT&T Byron Nelson Championship will likely depart the Trinity Forest Golf Club for another course in the area.

What is the tournament like?Located nine miles south of downtown Dallas, the Trinity Forest Golf Club is a 71-par course nestled within the Great Trinity Forest. Thanks to the proximity to the main entrance, the best viewing areas are the 13th fairway, right next to the fifth, sixth, 15th and 16th holes, and the 16th green, which affords a view of the first, 12th, 16th and 17th holes. The golf course also features a fan zone, a kid zone, the Katy Trail Ice House Pavilion (a beer garden-style venue), the Grey Goose 19th Hole lounge and an official after party. Kids will also have access to a special autograph area near the main putting green.
