Allen Americans Tickets
Being founded in 2009, the Allen Americans are a minor league hockey team in the ECHL moving from the CHL (Central Hockey League) after it disbanded in 2014. While they were still members of the CHL, the team won the President’s Cups in 2013 and 2014. The Allen Americans quickly rose to prominence in the ECHL after again winning back to back championships, this time the Kelly Cup in their 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons. In the 2019-20 season, the Americans look to bounce back from a rough 2018-19 season that saw them finish at the bottom of the ECHL’s Mountain Division and tie for the fewest points in the league. Not going down without a fight, the Americans led the league in penalty minutes last year. Win or lose, you can see the Allen Americans on ice. After 23 years of coaching, he has 10 championship titles, 4 of which were with the Allen Americans. What is the Allen Americans’ AHL affiliation?
The Allen Americans are affiliated in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Iowa Wild, whose NHL affiliate is the Minnesota Wild. The Allen Americans were originally established as an expansion for the Dallas Stars and Texas Stars within the now obsolete Central Hockey League (CHL). When the CHL disbanded, the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) absorbed many of their teams, and the Allen Americans began a four-year affiliation with the San Jose Sharks. In their 2018-2019 season, the Allen Americans started their new affiliation with the Minnesota Wild.Where do the Allen Americans play?

The Allen Americans team likes to celebrate their winning goals a little differently from other teams. After each goal and the goal horn, the team plays "Don’t Stop Living in the Red" by Andrew W.K. and are the only professional hockey team to do so.
