All Saints: back on tour in 2018
It's been quite a couple of years for iconic 90s pop outfit All Saints. After a successful string of shows across popular UK venues at the beginning of 2016, as well as the release of Red Flag - their first album in ten years - the quartet delighted fans even further, teaming up with the legendary Take That as support acts for the boyband's 2017 shows. Now, in 2018, the girls will be back out on their own headline tour, visiting venues across the UK in November and December. Don't miss your chance to see them live, buy All Saints tickets now at StubHub.
All Saints: one of the biggest girl bands of all time
After working as backing singers in London, Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis and Simone Rainford were signed to ZTT Records and launched as a trio. The group would only release one single, "Silver Shadow", before Rainford took leave to be replaced by two new members: sisters Natalie and Nicole Appleton. The new quartet brought out their self-titled debut album in 1996 with London Records, and first single "I Know Where It's At" gave them a top five hit. That was followed up with "Never Ever", which hit the top spot in countries all over the world, sold 1.2 million copies and won two BRIT Awards in 1998 - eventually standing as their signature song.
The band returned to the charts in 2000 with "Pure Shores", a track written for film The Beach, which became their fourth number one in the UK. As well as proving the biggest selling single of the year, the song also won the group an Ivor Novello Award. A fifth number one hit came with "Black Coffee" from second album Saints & Sinners, before the girls made the surprise decision to withdraw from the spotlight with a hiatus that would eventually last for five years. They reunited shortly together in 2006 for Studio 1, but despite the positive feedback, the group parted ways again with no indication of a future reunion. It wouldn't be until 2013, that fans were delighted by the surprise announcement of a tour with the Backstreet Boys, and positive reception to their performances saw them head back to the studio. In 2015, the first hints of their progress emerged, with the announcement of new album Red Flag and UK tour dates was warmly received. Now out to promote their latest material - as well as treat fans to their old favourites - All Saints will tour the UK in November and December 2018 with tickets available right here at StubHub.
