Adore Delano Tickets
Transitioning from reality television contestant to full blown star isn't an easy process, but it is one that Adore Delano has pulled off seamlessly. From first appearing on American Idol as the sassy personality who even Simon Cowell couldn't intimidate to a drag queen diva on RuPaul's Drag Race, Adore Delano has consistently soared on an upward trajectory.
Adore Delano has made her way all across the world, and her touring schedule shows no sign of stopping that trend. She has appeared on American stages ranging from the River Stage at Great Plaza in Philadelphia to Badlands in Sacramento. She has also performed in Canada at Flames Central in Calgary and Starlite Room in Edmonton. In the UK, she's taken the stage at Club Revenge in Brighton, and upcoming shows will have the diva at The Ritz in Manchester, O2 ABC Glasgow, O2 Academy 2 Newcastle and The Clapham Grand in London.
Adore Delano is simply the stage name used by performer Daniel Noriega. Though some may think she's "just" a YouTube star, she is also a staple on reality television series and has gone on to be featured in music videos for performers such as RuPaul and Courtney Act.
Adore Delano got her start when she debuted on American Idol in 2008. She would make it all the way to the semi-finals before finally being eliminated. Noriega continued his career on YouTube, performing as his drag queen personality along with doing skits as himself. He'd also sometimes perform as Angel Baby, another on-camera character. In 2009, he released a music video that featured his sister for the song "24/7." Five years later, he released his first studio album, Till Death Do Us Party as Adore. Only months later, a second full-length album was promised, though with a darker tone than the debut.
One could consider Adore Delano's appearance on American Idol as her breakthrough moment, but many great performers on this show never end up going any further. The attention Adore gained from RuPaul's Drag Race only increased the likelihood that Delano's breakthrough moment would actually occur. Her big moment came with the release of his album Till Death Do Us Party. The release topped out at No. 59 on the US charts, a strong showing for a debut album, and it also climbed all the way to No. 3 on the US Dance charts.
Till Death Do Us Party is Adore Delano's only released album, but fortunately for the drag performer, it was an absolute hit. In addition to reaching great heights on album charts, it was touted as one of the few albums released from RuPaul's Drag Race contestants that actually had "vocal merit." Fans loved the pop, electronic and dance mix-up on the album, but there's little doubt that the web series Let the Music Play, which featured songs off of the album, got fans excited about the initial release.
Those with Adore Delano tickets usually get a more up close and personal experience than they would at the shows of other performers. Adore often walks right through the crowd to get to the stage, and the fact that she's a performer above all else definitely shows through in the on-stage antics. These antics could be as typical as dancing around in high heels or as seductive as taking money from stage-side fans just like a stripper. Regardless of the moves, Adore Delano enthusiasts are undoubtedly in for the time of their lives.
