Hardline keep their fans happy

Fans of melodic metal band Hardline are in for a treat when they attend a live show. Hardline return to their classic rock melodies

Metal fans at a Hardline concert know they are in a for a good night out. They will also be able to hear tunes from the band's tried and tested melodic hard rock repertoire. Frontman Johnny Gioelli, the sole original member from the band's line-up, has said fans could expect to see the band revisit the songs on Double Eclipse as well as the other four albums. The original Hardline was formed in the early 1990s by brothers Johnny and Joey Gioelli, from Brooklyn, New York, and formerly of the band Brunette. Their debut album Double Eclipse is considered a classic of melodic hard rock. Renowned for the length of their hair, original band members included Neal Schon, who went on to join Journey and Bad English, Todd Jensen and Deen Castronovo, both of whom went on to play with Sequel, Ozzy Osbourne, href="/alice-cooper-tickets/performer/6542/">Alice Cooper and Steve Perry. After the band dissolved later in the 1990s, it took a decade for Johnny and Joey to revive it. Four studio albums later, Hardline are back on tour and in demand. Johnny Gioelli's grand European tour

Johnny Gioelli is a busy man, particularly in Europe. As well as his commitments to Hardline, he is also the lead singer for German guitarist Alex Rudi Pell and his band, as well as Crush 40. Along with bandmates Alessandro Del Vecchio, Mario Percudani, Anna Portalupi and Francesco Jovino, Johnny has been delighting fans at live shows throughout Europe.
