Twin Atlantic Biography - Hear Their Latest Album GLA Live

The band are made up of frontman Sam McTrusty, guitarist Barry McKenna, bassist Ross McNae and drummer Craig Kneale - all friends from their days at Hutchesons' Grammar School. Having initially established a strong local reputation by supporting both Circa Survive and mewithoutYou, the group soon released their debut EP A Guidance From Colour. The intense support of their first single 'Audience & Audio'gave them the opportunity to open for Biffy Clyro and Smashing Pumpkins.

After making a name for themselves on the festival circuit, debut album Vivarium was released, with the lead single 'Lightspeed' available as a free download. Sophomore album Free and third album Great Divide catapulted the quartet into the limelight, with highlight performances at Glastonbury, T in the Park and Reading and Leeds. While 'Heart and Soul' may have won the AIM Independent Music award for Track of the Year, new record GLA looks set to more than match its success.
