Fans in the UK have been lucky enough to experience the group at the O2 Academy Oxford and the Wulfrun Hall in Wolverhampton, but they can also expect upcoming shows at Park Dean Holiday Park in Porthcawl and the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham.

The members of The Dead Daisies are from bands that will undoubtedly go down in rock history, but the group itself has also made a bit of history of its own. Trade ties between America and Cuba had long been closed, but when American President Barack Obama reopened these ties, the first western rock band to play in the Communist country was The Dead Daisies. Over 6,000 fans showed up and saw the group at the Rock Por La Paz, or Rock for Peace.

Band/Singer

The Dead Daisies got their start when Jon Stevens, from INXS and Noiseworks, got together with David Lowy of Mink. They collaborated on a debut album within a year of getting together. After the self-titled album's release, the first full lineup hit the tour circuit. These members included guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Frank Ferrer and bassist Marco Mendoza from Whitesnake, and pianist Dizzy Reed from Guns N' Roses. The band would continue touring over the years and release a second album a year after their EP "Face I Love" was released. Due to lineup changes, the only original members remaining are Lowy, Fortus, Mendoza and Reed. They are joined by Brian Tichy and John Corabi.

Breakthrough

Unlike other rock groups, The Dead Daisies started out already having name recognition. In fact, their very first album had Slash co-write and perform on the "Lock N' Load" single. This means the group's very first album, The Dead Daisies, was their breakthrough release. It was recorded in Los Angeles over a two-week period and would end up being featured as the Daily Download for Rolling Stone magazine.

Hit Albums

The seamless integration of hard rock and heavy metal featured on The Dead Daisies is what kept fans listening, but it's undoubtedly the epic lineup and other featured artists that first appealed to fans. In 2015, fans were treated to the group's followup album, Revolucion, which received a 5-star review from Rock 'n' Load. Fans loved the '70s rock sound featured in the release, but the Rock 'n' Load pointed out that they also brought "just the right touch of 80s/90s LA sleaze" to the album. Critics have referred to it as "the whole package.

Show Experience

Anyone lucky enough to snag The Dead Daisies tickets will be treated to an authentic '80s hard rock show, with long hair, leather slacks and all.
