Organised by The Royal Hospital Chelsea in partnership with Kilimanjaro, this one-of-a-kind London concert series is the first to take place within the historic home of the Chelsea pensioners - former members of the British Army. In June 2015, a bill of world-class musicians will take the stage in the heart of Chelsea. They'll treat a fully seated auditorium to a spectacular display of live music in stunning al fresco surrounds in aid of these heroic military veterans.
Highly acclaimed singer songwriter Rufus Wainwright will treat the crowd to his celebrated classical influenced songbook on Friday 12 June, and the following night Irish alternative star Damien Rice will perform his passionate folk melodies. On Sunday 14 June, the influential synth pop luminary Alison Moyet will demonstrate the enchantingly husky voice that made her a New Wave trailblazer in the 1980s.
